Plenty of people read it, it just doesn't incite the urge to post in the talkback.

Peter's deal with Mephisto made total sense! Civil War was great! Bendis, Millar and Quesada are the best thing to happen to comics since computer coloring!

That should get things going...
Congratulations to the winners......

I was goofing about all of that EXCEPT the Bendis, Millar, Quesada part. This is Marvel's new golden era and it is in large part due to those three.
Unbrella Academy was the best thing I read in years

No joke. No matter what you think of My Chemical Romance if you pass up UA because of that you are the only person losing. it has a distinct voice and strikes a perfect balance between being deconstructionist but also old school fun, which is something no one outside of maybe Geoff Johns is doing in the mainstream. It's a flat out fantastic book and I would love to see Way take on someone like Spider Man in the future. His take on superheroes is sweet and fun without being at all precious and, thank god, he actually seems to know how to write interesting threats to his heroes. Consider me in the fan column.
Ok so Joenathan is trolling

I wasted not only the price of the book but the shipping costs from amazon on that ridiculous piece of dribble. Deconstructionist is a euphemism for scatterbrained pile of unfunny, just plain stupid ideas. But my shit is another man's chocolate so...

be careful. I had never heard of My chemical Romance song before I got this comic. So no bias there. THen I checked em out on Youtube...great film clip for that one song.

It was okay, but nothing great, at all, I thought. A basic reunion-story featuring the X-Men for goths.

If you think Marvel ISN'T firing on all cylinders as far as writing, art and editorial content and delivery is concerned these days, then you, sir, are the fool. You may not like their particular story elements or personal styles, but only a true idiot would try to claim that Marvel isn't currently at the top of their game.
How could you NOT like Umbrella Academy?

It was fun and fast and new. Isn't that what you guys constantly claim that you want? Bad taste, bad, bad taste.

Umbrella Academy was NOT a Deconstructionalist comic. Also, it mere usage does not convey a negative implication. Please learn what a word means before you try to throw it around as a buzz word, Bill O'Reilly.
