Remember when this talkback tallied a record amount of hits? Whoa, ScriptGirl's "ratings" have seriously declined. In the process, you've lost a supporting cast member (BoboVision) as a result of his politically inappropriate comments. A behind-the-scenes defection was good for laughs (the very anonymous JackVance or whomever, the dick who writes Grade-Z shit on napkins) but the novelty has faded. The only option for boosting ratings is for ScriptGirl to admit that she prefers a (sapphic) alternate lifestyle or something similarly "shocking". Or you could engage a has-been "talent" to play a significant role in her videos. But the show has fizzled. In a couple of weeks, it'll only be ScriptGirl and John T. Chance (between kissing ScriptGirl's butt, and Harry's, this guy must seriously load-up on Chapstick. Pretty sad). Time for a replacement series, maybe a youthful starlet who needs the visibility. She certainly merits kudos for originality (no one else does what she does) and bravery (for not folding after enduring comments that would singe the eyebrows of a legion of sailors. As far as looks go, is she Angelina Alba from Gwenythville? No. Who is? But she IS a babe. And if she were your girl, would just about any guy be proud to walk into a party with her next to you? If she were your sister, would you smile at the sight of her? I'm guessing that's a universal "yes." At the end of the day, she's a woman trying to accomplish something in a very difficult town. NO ONE in Hollywood is exactly who they appear to be, and given the level of ire directed toward her, I'm happy she has a degree of anonymity. Bottom line, if you don't respect the product, at least respect the effort. If you don't respect the effort, at least respect the person. If you don't respect the person, at least respect yourself. It's so easy to tear people down for anything at all. How about giving someone some slack to be free to try something new, and grow through the process?
