The Israeli guy. That muppet impression almost made me piss myself.
There are some real douches on the show, however

That trio of brothers belong in Venice doing their act for nickels.
I agree

That guy was the funniest guy last week. He'll do terrible in the competition, but it's damn hard for a prop comic who barely speaks the language of his audience laugh as hard as he had them rolling. I'd watch that guy do that shit all day long.
Same here

I think Carrot Top is the worst, but for whatever reason, that goofy mofo had me rolling. It's probably better he can hardly speak English. That old bastard who yells his entire act is not long for the show, either.
The Israeli guy, not Carrot Top

Had to clarify. Prop comedy is for clowns. Maybe that's why the Top looks that way.

Honestly, this show has NEVER produced a remotely funny person into the professional comic arena. NEVER.

talent picking people who have had success, however brief, but have failed to become household names. If you weren't good enough to make it the first time fortune smiled upon you, or smart enough to take advantage of the opportunity given you, what makes you think the second time around will be any different?

A show like this should be looking for that person who can't get a break because their hometown doesn't had a Yuk Yuks or Comedy Store - someplace to get noticed. They shouldn't be going to NY and LA to find "undiscovered" talent, they should be hitting every one-horse town from Poughkeepsie to the PCH. Find that kid, a raw talent, who's looking for a way out. Like Tom Cruise in that football movie, but instead of football, it's comedy, and instead of Craig T Nelson holding his future in his hands, it's Drew Carey (or whoever is judging this thing; maybe get Craig T Nelson).

A good show worth watching

Thanks AICN for the talk back on Last Comic Standing. None of these comics are as funny as Brian Regan or Eddie Izzard, but they are more entertaining than most the crap on TV in the summer.

Dan is a hacky comic, most the comics on lcs do suck horribly making dan seem less awful, but he still sucks. I watched him get booed an the oanda animation festival and then he ripped off andy kaufman and read poetry until they yanked him. Dan sucks
You fellas know which comic is NOT standing?

This is why this show isn't that popular. If they had mentioned the history with Naturman on last night's show they might have actually managed to make it INTERESTING. Instead we got boring backstage interviews and endless cutaways of the comics pretending to be impressed at the fake Eiffel Tower outside of the casino. Naturman is great, but his set last night was not the best. I've seen that guy DESTROY crowds in NYC. Adam Hunter all the way!
I liked Ron G.

...during his regional audition. That final set shoudn't have been enough to push him along. Ditto for God's Pottery -- it's not bad enough to recycle material in less than 10 minutes of stage time....but they killed the joke last night by telling everyone the punch line before they even started the song. Really wanted Belzer to call them out for not showing enough material. I'd have picked Andi Smith or Drennon Davis (who started horribly but finished strong) over any of the finalists picked who weren't Adam Hunter. Interesting that they only took 5 acts from the first night....does that mean they're taking 7 next week?
Does anyone know

who the San Fran comic was that talked about a homeless guy punching a pigeon out of the air? He was by far the funniest but they didn't pass him through.
I'm totally calling fix.

Ron G? God's Pottery? Paul Foot? Were they eliminating the 5 least funny? But then why weren't the Irish 3 included? BOOO! Is this another producers picking the personalities they want incident? There were some really funny acts, but other than Hunter I think the other four "finalists" were pretty much bottom four comedians. I'm watching next week, 'cause I like the stand up comedy, but then that's it. Eff you, LCS.
