The only news fit to e-print here is the Pia/Who news.Seriously, she's the only artist I can think of who has never once disappointed me.

...AICN posts stuff that's nearly a week old and calls it news?

Get your comic news elsewhere, kiddies. This is barely even a place for TV/movie news nowadays.

it happens after countdown but you don't need to read countdown cos didio wants it to be for new readers but then it goes straight into final crisis which is what people have been spending their money on. fucking hell didio is fucked.

When you work hard on a column called "Shoot the Messenger" and the first five posts strive (with eerie predictability) to do exactly that.

Sure, I like to read the weekly reviews of AICN's @$$holes @nonymous. But I'm not certain why this not-news couldn't be rolled up into that post and place the news at the beginning/end. I don't mind Shooting the Messenger, but it's be nice to cluster the targets together, Cheney-style.

that's only because you are a geek. the rest of the world doesn't give a shit, only someone who consistently reads comics would think they are overexposed. I didn't read comics for a year about a year ago and didn't feel shit.

I knew 95% of the news in this article, it is a pretty good summary of the comic news that counts from the past 14 days or so. For people whose lives aren't at least 70% owned by comics (like me), Shoot The Messenger is alright. Do it more often, and maybe they won't shoot you. The only one I didn't know about was the new Iron Man series by Fraction and LaRocca. That shit sounds alright, too...

After 7 years of comics, Hasbro has decided to not renew Devil's Due Publishing's license for G.I. Joe comics. After they finish out their current storyline this summer, IDW takes over. They currently have the Transformers license.

Sigh...another book I'll have to drop. Why put a misogynist writer on a female-fronted comic?

And I agree that Superman and Batman are overexposed. Of course, only a comic book geek would know that. Who else reads comics?

Do we really need a third Iron Man book...

After Iron Man and Marvel Adventures Iron Man, not to mention the frequent Iron Man limited series titles.
