Hey folks, Harry here... I would just like to thank everyone that wrote in for the WALL-E screening. The past few days - as I've read the 1000 + submissions - I'd just like to say... THANK YOU. It was like reading the soul of fandom... the dreams, the memories and the nostalgia. Choosing the "winners" wasn't easy - Sometimes it was as simple as mentioning 3 robots from Silent Running... other times... it was reading about a man and his family in Mexico testing and innovating the next generation of Hybrid vehicles so that we don't have a WALL-E future. But the love and the passion for the speculative medium of Science Fiction had a beating heart in your emails - and you all absolutely deserved to make it in.

Sadly - Not everyone could. That said - the winners below all did an exceptional job of writing and illustrating their passion for Sci-Fi.

I would like to say - welcome aboard. The screening is at THE ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE SOUTH on South Lamar here in Austin, Tx. If you didn't win - and you're a Fantastic Fest Badge Holder - there are 50 remaining tickets available so keep your eyes peeled for that opportunity soon - via Facebook, no doubt.

The screening is at 7pm - I would recommend getting to the Drafthouse no later than 6pm - just so you can get in line and start getting excited - because you folks are going to be the first public audience to see WALL-E!!! Holy Shit that's cool!
